2. Measuring
Once we’ve talked I’ll come out to meet with you and take detailed measurements of the location(s) where you need railings. This is free of charge! I do understand that most people are fully capable of using a tape measure, but it is essential that I assess the railing locations in person. This will ensure that I have all the information I need to properly fabricate your railing(s).

3. Fabrication
I personally fabricate all railings by hand, custom built to your steps measurements and style preference. I have a workshop at my home where I do all of the welding, fabrication and painting. The posts are 1” solid steel and all balusters are 1/2” solid steel. Paint is sprayed on, not brushed, and is very durable. Custom colors and color matching available at an added cost. Common turn around time is 1-2 weeks depending on railing size, quantity, and complexity of the railing(s).

4. Installation
The installation method will depend on the material that the railing is being installed into. Railings going into solid stone will have posts set in two inch diameter holes that I core drill. Railings installed on wood decking are secured by square pads with countersunk screw holes. Railings on hollow concrete steps are secured with two concrete anchors per post. Finally, railings installed directly into dirt will be set in post holes and poured with concrete. Contact me with any questions, I’m always happy to help!
